Change the Beat and Footwork present DJ Sydney Blu, Marlee, Tigress & Kookoomama this November 23rd at The Downbeat!

Change the Beat is an non-profit organization that helps elevate women and diversity in the music industry. This show is part of a 10-city tour going across Canada and with workshops supported by Canada Council for the Arts and Long & Mcquade. Details for the workshop hosted earlier in the evening by our guest DJs will be announced soon.

Sydney Blu is a Juno Nominated chart topping artist with releases on labels like Mau5trap, Drumcode, Toolroom, and more. 

Marlee has played music at hundreds of local and out of town events, festivals, raves and radio shows. She has stood beside legends and carved herself a loyal following.

Tigress has been playing shows across BC and delving into the realm of music production. Anticipate her upcoming EP and releases in 2025.

Kookoomama is a self-taught DJ and designer of funky and quirky jewelry. A regular streamer and affiliate level twitch DJ.
